Core Classes Involvement in The Orchard is participation in the lifelong adventure of growing stronger as followers of Jesus. In The Orchard we journey together in this adventure as we Branch Out and Grow Deep. It is an amazing journey that makes God real and church meaningful. To begin this journey, we invite all people to attend the foundational courses at The Orchard. The following three courses at The Orchard help you move forward in faith because you are stepping on the firm foundations of relevant, Biblical, and applicable teaching. We invite you to take all three as you become active in The Orchard. They are taught at different times throughout the year. ORCHARD 100: Getting Started Seeking Answers to Important Questions ORCHARD 100 is the beginning point of The Orchard's series of courses. It serves as a brief introduction to the Christian faith that is designed to answer common questions and stimulate interest in further discovery and decision. ORCHARD 100 is for newcomers who are seeking answers to important questions and for those who are starting a relationship with God. In ORCHARD 100 you can discuss any question or voice any opinion about God, the Bible, or faith. Next Course: TBA ORCHARD 101: Membership in The Orchard (Check back soon for next class date) Establishing a Healthy Foundation for Following Jesus This course helps people get started in The Orchard Church. ORCHARD 101 is designed to give you an overview of the Christian faith, as well as a basic understanding of the mission, vision, core values, and organization of The Orchard Church. The course also looks at the history of The Orchard and its connection to the larger United Methodist Church. When the course is over, we will have a celebration where you may join The Orchard as a member. Baptism into the Christian faith is also celebrated at the conclusion of ORCHARD 101. ORCHARD 201: The Good $ense Budget Course Biblical Financial Principles for Transforming Your Finances and Life This course helps participants discover tools and develop skills that enable them to control their finances, rather than allowing their finances to control them.
